Shane has a love, almost an obession, with cute things. Small animals, stuffed toys, video games with cute monsters (Pokemon >w>). He has a large, pink bear on his bed; the first real gift he ever got from Jenna. He also enjoys cooking and baking, and usually is the one who prepares dinner for the two on a regular basis. His family life, or lack thereof, makes him extremely lonely, and as such he cannot stand being alone for too long before going into a depressed state. This doesn’t mean that he has to be in the same room as another person, he’s perfectly happy if they’re in the apartment with him, an example being that sometimes he just wants to be left alone in his room with Jenna in the other room.

Jenna comes from a upper middle class family in West Virginia. She was raised by her mother and father, who, upon their daughters declaration of wanting to become a Meister for the D.W.M.A at the age of twelve, disowned her from the family, leaving her a sizeable sum of money to live off of. The reason for this is because they found the idea of fighting and collecting souls to be a vulgar activity and refused to have any connections to any miester, even their own daughter. To keep appearances to the community they simply stated that Jenna was scheduled to be married off to a foreign business partners son for financial gain. She refuses to speak to them, and vise versa.

Her first partner was a Naginata, a boy by the name of William, with whom she had become romantically and at times physically involved with for almost a year. The partnership ended badly, resulting in restraining orders and Williams expulsion from the Academy.

Later that year,  Jenna took a mission to the Pacific Northwest, where she befriended her current weapon partner, Shane. As the relationship matured over the next three years, the two grew closer, collecting a total of 89 Kishin Souls.

Jenna loves candy; more specifically, any candy that has a fruity taste like Starburst or Skittles. She always has some either in her pocket or her bag.
